糸で描いたデザインが、ふわりとパネルから浮き出して見える「ストリングアート」。通常は木の板とクギを使いますが、このキットではポリエチレン製のボードとピンを使うためやり直しも簡単で、軽いので飾りやすいのもポイント。できあがった作品は見る角度によって印象が異なるだけでなく光の当たり方で糸の影も変化します。
In “String Art,” the designs depicted with strings seem as if they “float” off of the panel surface.This kit uses polyethylene board and pins instead of the typical wooden board and nails, making it easier to start over, and light, so that it is easy to display. The completed pieces not only look different depending on the angle you look at it from, but the shadows cast by the strings also change according to how the light hits the pieces.
